Does Anxiety and Depression Kill, Or Is It The Drugs That Kill??

Ian: “I see another celebrity has passed away due to overdose.”

Alexa: “Yeah. It really is a shame. I hate to see so much talent being wasted in Hollywood.”

Ian: “Well I can imagine it being anxious and depressing traveling all the time and having to do all the stressful things that celebrities do.”

Alexa: “Yeah, I agree with you.”

It is people like Ian and Alexa that are not aware that celebrities, and many other people that suffer from anxiety and depression, have another solution available to them that doesn’t involve drugs.  With suicide rates steadily rising in the U.S., you can see why drug overdose tends to be a touchy subject.  Thousands of Americans take their own lives each and every year due to drugs meant to put a stopper in the diseases that drive them to committing such an act in the first place.  Although extremely sad, it is understandable for people who are hurting in this way to believe that there is only “one way out”.  Today, learn that chiropractic offers a better choice!!  Chiropractic plays a significant role in helping more Americans feel happier.  Visit http://www.yourbackinlinenow.com and find out more information about the subject of chiropractic helping with stress, anxiety, depression, and much much more!

Are Drugs Over-Prescribed? Doctors say YES!

According to a report delivered by the general of the Department of Health and Human Services, harmful prescriptions that cost the U.S. government over 350 million dollars have been prescribed to patients.  But it is not just the investigators saying that these drugs are over-prescribed, the doctors are AGREEING with them by also stating that outrageous numbers of prescriptions are being filled not only by retail drugstores but also by mail order in the U.S.  There is no doubt that some prescriptions are indeed helpful, but still hundreds and even millions of these prescriptions are both unnecessary and extremely dangerous.  As most of you know anyways, there is always that exceedingly fast portion at the end of the drug pill commercials that tells you the risks and possible side effects, which 9 times out of 10 outweigh all the benefits of taking said drug.  “If you suffer from chronic headaches, take this new breakthrough drug called Uthplevuckide.  Possible side effects include diarrhea, loss of limbs, deafness, total body numbness, pregnancy, and death.” Thank you but no thank you.  I think I will just have to live with the chronic headaches.  Luckily, doctors have begun to “see the light” so to speak and start a new fad that includes the recommendation of chiropractic care rather than the prescription of a “miracle” drug.  With these new recommendations surfacing, unnecessary prescribing and testing will slowly decline.   The dawn of a new day on the path of natural healing is on the horizon; and, it is beautiful indeed!

Chiropractic or Drugs?

Believe it or not, pain is actually not all that bad.  It is the body’s natural way of telling us that something is definitely WRONG and needs to be fixed as soon as possible!  So in some ways, you can actually say that pain is one of your best pals.  No one wants to be on numerous medications for various ailments for the rest of their lives, especially when there is an alternative! Of course, we all want that immediate relief that drugs and other pain pills seem to give us.  But in reality, is it relief? Not really.  It is a simple act of masking the symptoms that are causing the pain in the first place.  Even the simplest over-the-counter medications deemed harmless can cause permanent and irrevocable damage if abused.  And you know what they say, even too much of a good thing is a bad thing.  However, everybody and their grandmother still tends to pop a Tylenol or Advil at the slightest hint of pain regardless of knowing the scientifically proven and detrimental side affects both have on the liver.  Furthermore, you can thank everyone and their dear ole granny for increasing liver failure in the U.S. due to acetaminophen overdose.  What most people are not aware of is that instead of putting their liver at risk, chiropractic care can not only help decrease and eventually alleviate most of this pain but can also help other ailments that human bodies endure over time.  For example, chiropractic care helped relieve a woman who had suffered from headache and migraine pains her entire life.  However, thanks to her excessive use of acetaminophen over the years, the liver and kidney damage she had sustained was permanent.  Don’t be the next victim.  Instead of turning to the simple solution, pay attention to your pain instead of medicating it away.

Come join us today at Back in Line Chiropractic and Spine Injury Specialist and Dr. LaDonna Bense and her staff will further educate you on the important of chiropractic care versus medication and pain killers.
